I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in May 2015 with a major in Ecology and Evolution and a minor in French. I also attended the Université de Nice to study French for a semester. I'm currently applying for graduate programs in Neuroscience and Behavior while working in a neuroscience research lab in downtown Baltimore.
Experience
The subjects I'm actively tutoring are Calculus, elementary math, Biology, and GRE test prep, but I'm capable of tutoring any other subject listed on my profile. I just started tutoring this year, and have so far found it to be one of my most rewarding experiences. It's been a great way for me to keep learning during this period between undergrad and graduate school, while making use of my academic background. As a biology undergrad, in addition to a diverse range of biology courses, I've taken 4 semesters of college level math courses, 4 semesters of chemistry, and 2 semesters of physics. As a French minor, I was also fortunate enough to study abroad for my last semester of college in Nice, France, where I lived with a French family with whom I communicated in only French.
