Education
I am a junior at Goucher College majoring in English with a concentration in Secondary Education. I have a 3.65 cumulative GPA. I have taken 3 years of education classes and the fieldwork that go with them. I plan to graduate with my BA in 2017 and then continue on to get a Masters in Education before I get a job teaching.
Experience
I had a 3.7 GPA in high school and I got a 1940 on my SAT and a 27 on my ACT. I got a 4 on the AP Calculus A/B test and both AP English tests. Goucher college lets students experience teaching in a classroom with every education course. I have done mini internships at the LAB school of Baltimore, the Baltimore Leadership School for Young Women, and Dulaney High School. I taught English as a second language in South Africa this summer.
