- Bachelor of Arts in English (Writing) and Mass Communications (Journalism), and French from Towson University. - Currently in the Professional Writing Graduate Program at Towson University to earn my Master's. - Eventually plan on earning my doctorate in Writing.
Experience
- I used to work in a tutoring program at my university called the Towson Tutors Program where I tutored elementary school students in math, reading, and other classwork/homework. - I also independently tutor in English, writing, and SAT. I edit school essays and writing assignments, as well. - I have tutored students of all ages from very young to college and grad students. - I want to be a tutor because I have a lot of experience in tutoring and believe that it is so rewarding to help others academically and to be the cause of them understanding and learning something that they have trouble with. - I am fluent in both Farsi and French and have advanced communication skills; I was also employed by a freelance interpretation/translation company.
