I am about to start my sophomore year at Towson University. I am an anthropology major with a minor in french. My current GPA is 3.6. My spring semester my GPA was 3.9.
Experience
On my SAT I received a 650 in reading, a 640 in math, and a 580 in writing. My writing was my lowest score, but after starting college I realized my true love of writing. In english and french. I received an A in my writing class and edit many papers of my peers often getting them a whole letter grade higher. I have taken 6 years of french and am am about to start my 7th. I would love to be a tutor because I love working one on one with people, and forming a connection. I am patient and an efficient communicator which I feel are skills crucial to a tutor. Though I have not worked as a tutor before during high school I worked internships that built my college resume like for the non-profit washington pars and people, and even for the Secretary of District of Washington D.C. Because of my experience I could be a helpful resource for high school students to find similar opportunities.
