I am a tutor in Houston, Texas, where I teach math and science, including high school algebra II, pre-calculus, and AP calculus AB. I am a graduate of George Washington University in Washington, D.C. with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a mathematics minor.As a tutor, I teach students at a variety of grade levels. I have taught students from the third grade to the college level. Most of my tutoring has been in math and science subjects to elementary, middle school, high school, and college students. I realize that math can be a difficult subject for students. Additionally, I have helped students prepare for the ACT and SAT tests. Calculus and other math courses are my favorite subjects to teach since I love the challenge of math. I tutor students in a number of math and science subjects, including pre-algebra, algebra, precalculus, calculus, trigonometry, chemistry, and physics.I try to use examples that demonstrate how a subject may be seen in normal life when I am teaching, because I think that learning should be an enjoyable experience for students.I am also interested in sports, including tennis, swimming, and diving. During middle school and high school, I participated in these sports.-
